{"id":13,"date":"2007-04-21T08:27:04","date_gmt":"2007-04-21T15:27:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.recipes.norathompson.com\/?p=13"},"modified":"2011-07-21T10:45:37","modified_gmt":"2011-07-21T17:45:37","slug":"stuffed-mushrooms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.recipes.norathompson.com\/?p=13","title":{"rendered":"Olive Garden&#8217;s Stuffed Mushrooms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>8-12 fresh mushrooms<br \/>\n1 (6 ounce) can clams (drained and finely minced, save 1\/4 cup of clam juice for stuffing)<br \/>\n1 green onion, finely minced<br \/>\n1 egg (beaten)<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon minced garlic<br \/>\n1\/8 teaspoon garlic salt<br \/>\n1\/2 cup Italian style breadcrumbs<br \/>\n1 teaspoon oregano leaves<br \/>\n1 tablespoon melted butter, cooled<br \/>\n2 tablespoons finely grated parmesan cheese<br \/>\n1 tablespoon finely grated romano cheese<br \/>\n2 tablespoons finely grated mozzarella cheese (for stuffing)<br \/>\n1\/4 cup finely grated mozzarella cheese (for garnish)<br \/>\n1\/4 cup melted butter<br \/>\nfresh parsley (for garnish)<\/p>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 350F.<\/p>\n<p>Lightly oil a small baking dish.<\/p>\n<p>Gently wash and stem mushrooms; pat dry (Save stems for another recipe).<\/p>\n<p>Combine clams, onions, garlic salt, minced garlic, butter and oregano in a bowl and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Add Italian bread crumbs, egg, clam juice, mixing well.<\/p>\n<p>Add Parmesan, Romano, and Mozzarella cheeses to the clam stuffing and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Place approximately 1 1\/2 teaspoons of the clam stuffing mixture inside mushroom cavity and slightly mound (You should be able to stuff between 8- 12 mushrooms depending on the size of mushrooms).<\/p>\n<p>Place the stuffed mushrooms in slightly oiled baking dish and pour 1\/4 cup melted butter over the top of the mushrooms.<\/p>\n<p>Cover and place in oven for about 35- 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove cover;
